A Positive Day

Today was a very positive day. And not because that was/is an important emphasis this year. But it was positive because of what I saw you all doing today. I saw veteran teachers seeking out and welcoming new teachers. I saw some of us scrounging for supplies for newcomers. I saw teachers excited about trying something new in their classrooms. I saw creative groups of people gathering together for lunch. I saw new teachers already working together on the first week's lessons. I saw administrators who were open to ideas and feedback and willing and eager to be transparent. And of course, the fresh produce in the library is always a positive thing. Overall, as we rate the days that go by, this one was, no doubt, a positive one. Looking forward to tomorrow.
