The residue of last year

I have just been approved to do a quick study on what we learned about ourselves as teachers and about teaching in a virtual world that may or may not carry over into our face-to-face teaching. While I know many of us never want to go back to virtual teaching, I am hoping that are some things we learned about ourselves and our teaching practice - about things like student engagement, access to resources, making our content relevant, etc. - that might inform our return to the full-time classroom. While my study focuses on social studies, I would to talk with anyone who has thought about this as well. What did you do last year for this first that your are definitely going to continue? What did you do last year that you will never do again? Are there things you learned about your practice and content that you are glad you learned and/or other things that you struggled with and were challenged by?
